These initiatives are designed to help future-proof your investment and give buyers the confidence to bid knowing the cattle on offer are backed by breeders who stand behind what they sell.
The guarantees and initiatives outlined below reflect those offered at the 2025 Auction. Some of these have been part of the Hot Spot sale since the beginning, while others have been introduced more recently as the sale has continued to grow and evolve. As planning progresses for the 2026 Hot Spot Auction, we will be working with our confirmed vendors to determine which guarantees and buyer initiatives will apply to this year’s sale. Full details of the 2026 guarantees and incentives will be released in due course.

BUY BACK
Hot Spot guarantees to purchase any commercial progeny sired naturally by a bull purchased from the 2025 Auction at current market rates. Some Vendors will offer a premium in addition to the market rates for commercial progeny sired by their bulls.*
BULLS
In addition to the typical fertility guarantee, each Vendor will guarantee the structural soundness of their bulls! In the unlikely event of bull breakdown due to structural failure, a replacement bull or a refund will be provided – not a credit!*
FEMALES
In the unlikely event a female can’t be bred by a fertile bull within 12 months of the Auction, a replacement female or a refund will be provided – not a credit! If a PTIC female does not produce a live calf, 2 semen straws from a comparable bull will be provided.*
